DBS Kempton NH sale-topper off the mark

KIND Of Easy, the £70,000 sale-topper at last year's DBS National Hunt Breeze-Up Sale at Kempton, got off the mark in authoritative style on Monday when taking the bumper at Huntingdon.

The son of Kalanisi, who is a half-brother to Grade 1-winning hurdler Glencove Marina, was sold at Kempton by Kennycourt Stud to GH Bloodstock. Kennycourt Stud had purchased the gelding six months earlier for €36,000 at the Goffs Land Rover Sale. He was also knocked down for €72,000 to John Murphy at the 2007 Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale.
