Lockinge winner Keltos on the move again

KELTOS, the three-and-a-half length winnerof the 2002 Lockinge Stakes from Noverre, has been transferred from Dehesa de Milagro to Haras de Marmaria in Spain where he will stand as a private stallion. He stood the past season for €2,500.

The son of Kendor has had a varied stud life after fertility problems during a season at Airlie Stud in Ireland enforced his return to racing in 2004. In 2007, he was retired for a second time, in this instance to Chevington Stud, after which he was transferred for two seasons to Haras des Granges in France and then to Dehesa de Milagro in Spain.

Keltos is the sire of 18 winners from a limited number of runners including the Listed scorers Evening Time and Kelty In Love.
