Edward Evans dispersal catalogue published

A TOTAL of 244 horses have been catalogued to sell in the complete dispersal of the late, successful US owner-breeder Edward P. Evans' stock at Keeneland later this year.

Fifty-one yearlings will sell from Evans' Spring Hill Farm at the Keeneland September sale, while 173 horses of varying ages will come under the hammer at the November breeding-stock sale.

All horses will sell without reserve, with proceeds going to the Edward P. Evans Charitable Foundation.

Broodmares on offer include Kobla, the dam of four-time Grade 1 scorer Quality Road who is carrying his full sibling, along with the dams of Saint Liam (in foal to Quality Road) and Malibu Prayer (in foal to Medaglia D'Oro).

Malibu Prayer is also on offer, in foal to Smart Strike, along with other Grade 1 performers Cat Moves and Spritely.

Last month's Grade 1 Mother Goose Stakes winner Buster's Ready is among the highlights of the horses in training in the dispersal, while the yearlings include a brother to Quality Road, a Pulpit half-brother to Saint Liam and a Giant's Causeway half-brother to Yonaguska.

Foals on offer include Saint Liam's half-sister by Medaglia D'Oro and a sister to Malibu Prayer.
