Foxtale Farm buys Street Sense colt for $330,000

A STREET SENSE colt became the top-selling weanling so far of the Wednesday session of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale when he sold for $330,000 to Gabriel Duignan’s Foxtale Farm.

“I loved his sire,” said Duignan. “I loved everything about him.”

Eclipse Award winner Street Sense won the 2006 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and the 2007 Kentucky Derby. He remains the only horse to pull off the double, and his first foals are yearlings.

The weanling is out of the Forestry mare Autumnal and hails from the same family as Grade 1 winner Albert the Great.

He was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
