Keeneland April features top freshman sire lots

KEENELAND has catalogued 169 juveniles for its Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale on April 7.

Among the juveniles set to breeze on Keeneland''s main track are the progeny of some top sires to have their first runners this season - among them Hard Spun, Street Sense, Any Given Saturday, Corinthian, Half Ours, Lawyer Ron, Scat Daddy and Steve Wonderboy.

Also catalogued is a colt from the last crop of Storm Cat.

The April sale has produced some notable graduates including Lookin At Lucky, Big Brown and Thunder Gulch. "We are very proud of the April Sale’s classic connections, particularly Lookin At Lucky, who is one of only five colts to be named champion at both two and three,” said Keeneland director of sales Geoffrey Russell. “To have sold five classic winners from a sale which is still fairly young in stature speaks to the quality of the individuals we offer.”
