Darley sire Offlee Wild to relocate to Pennsylvania

OFFLEE WILD, sire of 2009 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies heroine She Be Wild, is moving from Darley's Jonabell Farm in Kentucky to Pin Oak Lane Farm in Pennsylvania for next year.

The 11-year-old son of Wild Again's fee has been adjusted from $7,500 in 2011 down to $4,000.

She Be Wild's juvenile exploits - she also won the Grade 3 Arlington-Washington Lassie and ran second in the Grade 1 Alcibiades Stakes - sealed champion freshman sire honours for Offlee Wild by progeny earnings.

Offlee Wild - who hails from the family of Dynaformer and won the Grade 1 Suburban Handicap at five - has sired 13 stakes performers from three crops of racing age.

Pin Oak Lane Farm's William Solomon said: "Offlee Wild, having already sired 13 stakes horses and with lifetime progeny earnings in excess of $5.2 million from three crops to race, will be a very important asset to the Pennsylvania thoroughbred breeding industry."
