ITBA announces details of 2010 Expo

THE Irish Thoroughbred Breeders' Association has released details of next year’s ITBA Expo.

Theevent, which will take place on January 29 to 30, 2010 at the Goffs sale complex in Kill, Ireland, will be the first since the inaugural exhibition in 2008.

It will again feature exhibitors promoting products, services and technologies related to the thoroughbred industry as well as a number of workshops and seminars covering a range of topics such as nutrition, veterinary care and farriery.

The highlight will be the international symposium on the Friday evening, with an international panel of experts that will be announced shortly.

ITBA manager Shane O'Dwyer said: "We understand money is tighter this year and we have made a number to concessions to make itmore affordable for exhibitors.

"It is important to continue the event as it provides a platform to promote and sell products and services to a captive audience and shows visitors what is available and new in the market place.

"In addition, the seminars and symposium give the opportunity to educate and promote the industry, which is extremely important for the growth and development of our business."
