Iron Mask relocates
for 2009 season

IRON Mask will stand at Haras des Fontaines in the South West of France next season under a one-year lease agreement.

The ten-year-old son of Danzig has stood the past two seasons at Haras du Quesnay at a fee of €5,000. He is expected to return to the Normandy-based stud in 2010.

Following a racing career which was highlighted by a victory in the Group 1 Singapore Airlines Krisflyer Sprint, Iron Mask was retired to Ballyhane Stud, where he stood for four seasons.

His best performer from three crops of racing age is the Group 3 winner Iron Lips.
