Breeder: Juddmonte Farms

JUDDMONTE'S daughter of superstar producer Hasili, the Storm Cat filly Deluxe, scored her first black-type win in the Listed Prix De Liancourt at Longchamp on Wednesday.

The Andre Fabre-trained three-year-old won her first two starts, both over a mile, at two and the second at three. Then jacked-up into Group 1company, she finished an honourable second to Sarafina in the Coolmore-sponsored Prix St Alary, and was fourth in the Prix de Diane.

Hasili, a Listed winner over a mile at Nantes at two, has produced the top-class sire Dansili, a Group 2 winner and three times runner-up in Group 1 company, his sisters and Grade/Group 1 winners Banks Hill and Intercontinental, their Grade 1-winning brothers Champs Elysees and Cacique, along with the Grade 1-winning daughter of Green Desert, Heat Haze.

Deluxe therefore becomes Hasili's seventh black-type winner form eight runners, and all seven have at least placed in Group or Grade 1 company.

She has a two-year-old filly by Empire Maker in training with Andre Fabre called Very Good News.

Also recording Listed wins at Longchamp were Liliside, by American Post out of the Miller's Mate mare Miller's Lily, and Cirrus Des Aigles, a son of 2,000 Guineas and Derby-placed Even Top, out of the Taille De Guepe, by Septieme Ciel.
