AUSTRALIAN auctioneers William Inglis and Son has launched an online service publishing details of shares that are available for purchase in syndicate-owned racehorses.
It has been called Inglis Sharemarket and is a commission-free service allowing potential owners to browse through online listings of horses for sale.
A registration fee of A$350 is charged by Inglis for any horse advertised but which was not sold at one of its yearling sales. All details regarding each horse, including its price and pedigree, are listed. Inglis has provided a help page for both prospective owners and syndicate managers.

Racehorse syndication in Australia is strictly governed by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Inglis's Classic yearling sale is scheduled for February 8-10 with its major Easter Yearling Sale taking place on April 5-7
