Inglis bushfire auction set for Monday

SUNLINE'S sire Desert Sun and St James's Palace Stakes winner Brief Truce are among the 23 Thoroughbred stallions with nominations up for sale on the Inglis Online Auction of Stallion Nominations, which starts on Monday in aid of the Victorian and Queensland fire and flood victims.

Approximately 250 stallion nominations to at least 24 different horse breeds have been donated to the auction, which is being conducted by volunteers Heather Studdy, Meridian Estate Warmblood Stud, Yatama Stud and Tristan Bryan through

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Project Hope Horse Welfare Victoria (PHHWV), which supports any horse owner who has been affected by the bushfires and floods.

Other Thoroughbred stallionsrepresented include Barely A Moment, Undoubtedly, Tuscanos, Murphy's Blue Boy, Umatilla, Half Hennessy, Top Marc and Manner Hill.

The online auction starts at 9.00am on Monday and close of bids will be staggered by breed on Friday.
