Argentina stud spot for Million hero Luck Money

LUCK MONEY, who was trained by Paul Cole to win the lucrative Goffs Million sales race in 2007, will begin his stud career next month at Alberto and Renata Stein's Haras La Leyenda in Argentina.

The five-year-old son of Indian Ridge also finished third in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes, beaten three-quarters of a length by Henrythenavigator, and, after being transferred to race in America at three, won the Majestic Light Stakes at Saratoga.

A €160,000 Goffs Million yearling, Luck Money is out of the Machiavellian mare Dundel, making him a half-brother to Group 3 Prix du Calvados winner Charlotte O Fraise.

His third dam is blue hen Sunbittern, ancestress of Dubawi, High-Rise, In The Wings and Virginia Waters.

Luck Money will stand at La Leyenda alongside shuttlers from North America Exchange Rate, Freudand Offlee Wild.
