Indian Blessing: her first offspring is a colt by Zensational

Champion Indian Blessing has first foal

CHAMPION American filly Indian Blessing produced her first foal on January 30.

The new arrival is a dark bay or brown colt by Zensational and was born at Hill 'n' Dale Farms in Kentucky.

Racing for owner-breeder Hal and Patti Earnhardt, Indian Blessing was crowned champion North American two-year-old filly after winning the Frizette Stakes and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies.

The following seasonthe daughter of Indian Charlie picked up champion three-year-old sprint filly honours for winning the Prioress, Test and La Brea Stakes. All told, she finished first or second in 15 of her 16 starts.

Triple Grade 1-winning sprinter Zensational stands at Hill'n'Dale at a fee of $22,500 in 2011. His first crop are this year's foals.
