Coloured stallion I Was Framed moved to France

I WAS FRAMED, one of only two coloured throughbred stallions in Europe and the first to be registered with Weatherbys, has been transferred from Rectory Farm Cottage in Cambridgeshire to the Parc de la Sardiere near Nantes in France.

Owned by Mette Campbell-Andenaes, I Was Framed is an eight-year-old son of Racey Remarque registered as a bay overo. His first crop are three-year-olds in 2010.

The Parc de la Sardiere, run by Alexandre Goar, includes an equine rehabilitation centre and horse riding school.

Humbel moves to Rectory Farm
Taking the place of I Was Framed at Rectory Farm Cottage for the 2011 covering season is Humbel.

Humbel, an 18-year-old Theatrical half-brother to champion US mare Escena, joins Rectory Farm from Coolagown Stud in County Cork.

The Blandford Stakes winner's best progeny include Grade 2-placed hurdler Thetwincamdrift and multiple winners Description, Dick Naylor and Humbel Ben.

Humbel's fee for 2011 has been set at £750.
