Honours List to stand at stud in Spain

HONOURS LIST, sire of last year's Group 1 Doncaster Handicap winner Triple Honour in New Zealand, has been transferred to stand at Haras de Ulzama in Spain.

A son of Danehill out of Listed winner Gold Script, Honours List was purchased by Coolmore for FF3,000,000  in 1999.

He won his maiden at two, and then captured the Railway Stakes (Gr3) before finishing second to Tobougg in the Prix de la Salamandre (Gr1) and third to Okawango in the Grand Criterium (Gr1). He was retiredafter sustaining a hock injury before an intended crack at the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.

Honours List was initially retired to stud in Australia, and he stood the 2008 southern hemisphere breeding season at Hollylodge Thoroughbreds in Victoria for a fee of A$6,600.

His stud fee at Haras de Ulzama for 2009 is €2,000 (1st Oct) or €2,800 (SLF).
