Hill 'n' Dale Farm announces 2010 fees

JOHN Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farm in Kentucky has published the fees for its stallion roster in 2010.

Most of the operation's stallions are the subject of fee reductions, including the farm's most expensive resident, Stormy Atlantic, who has been cut from $45,000 in 2009 to $35,000, and Closing Argument, whose first crop are two-year-olds and who has had his fee slashed by more than half, from $12,500 to$5,000.

Only Roman Ruler, currently second in the leading US freshman sire rankings by progeny earnings, and Midnight Lute and Indygo Shiner, who were new additions to the Hill 'n' Dale roster this year, have escaped fee reductions.

Zensational, a triple Grade 1 winner by Unbridled's Song, will stand his first season at stud at Hill 'n' Dale next year at a fee of $25,000.
