First winner for
Indian Creek

GROUP 2 winner Indian Creek sired his first winner on Friday evening when Highland River won division two of the 1m nursery at Kempton.

Bred and owned by John Wotherspoon, the colt is trained by David Elsworth, who also trained Indian Creek to win six of 24 starts including the Hardwicke Stakes and Gordon Richards Stakes. The son of Indian Ridge also finished third in two renewals of the Champion Stakes.

Indian Creek stands at Ballykisteen Stud in Ireland where his fee is on application.

Highland River is the second winner from three foals out of Bee One, a winning daughter of Catrail from the family of Kris and Diesis.
