Heliostatic sires first winner with Crius

FIRST-SEASON sire Heliostatic, a son of champion Galileo, notched a first winner at Warwick on Thursday with Crius.

The Richard Hannon-trained colt was bred by Oak Lodge Bloodstock and cost 18,000gns as a yearling from Tattersalls October Book 2.

Crius is the first foal of Fearless Flyer, a daughter of Brave Act who only raced as a juvenile, winning over 1m at Bellewstown and landing the Grade 3 Natalma Stakes at Woodbine, Canada.

Heliostatic is a brother to Irish Derby and Coronation Cup winner Soldier Of Fortune and stands at Oak Lodge Stud, this year at a fee of €5,000.
