French sires Epalo and Nombre on the move

FRENCH stallions Epalo and Nombre Premier will have new bases at which they will ply their trade next year.

Singapore Cup winner Epalo has moved from the Haras de Saint-Voir to the Haras de la Rousseliere in western France.

The son of Lando's oldest crop are four and his best performer on the Flat is Listed fourth Usuelo.

He was represented by a promising jumps performer at the weekend when his AQPS daughter Une Belle Histoire, a half-sister to Grade 1-winning hurdler Rendons Grace, won at Le Mans.

Rousseliere's 2012 roster is completed by Maresca Sorrento, Denham Red and Puit D'Or.

Dual Group 3 scorer Nombre Premier, meanwhile, transfers from the Haras d'Ayguemorte to the Haras du Pley.

The son of Kendor's best Flat performers are Group 2 Prix du Muguet winner Vertigineux and Listed scorer Becqu Adoree.

Nombre Premierjoins Fairly Ransom and Machiavellian Tsar at Pley and his 2012 fee is €1,500.
