Former Domino Stud owner Bill Terry dies

Bill Terry, the former owner of Domino Stud, has died at the age of 91. Terry owned the Lexington stud between 1971 and 1989 before selling it to Kenneth Jones Jr.

Domino was the first farm to stand 1983 Kentucky Derby winner Sunny's Halo, and the French champion two-year-old Grey Dawn II also stood there during Terry's time.

Mr. T's Tune, the winner of six stakes races, was bred and owned by Bill Terry, whose business endeavours included bottling companies, fast food restaurants, and the Marriott Griffin Gate resort in Lexington.
