Gredley puts Stetchworth Park on the market

CLASSIC-winning owner Bill Gredley has put his 116 acre Stetchworth Park Estate near Newmarket up for sale. Joint agents Bidwells and Savills are quoting a guide price of £11million-plus.

Stetchworth Park is home to the famous Stetchworth Park Stud where Gredley bred his Oaks and St Leger heroine User Friendly and Eclipse Stakes winner Environment Friend. The stud includes 24 boxes, its own paddocks as well asa six-bay horse walker and isolation boxes. There is also a competition yard which Gredlley's showjumping son Tim has used to good effect.

The sale includes a Grade II Listed eight-bedroom house.

Gredley, who currently has horses in training with John Gosden and Charlie Hills, said: "I have decided to sell Stetchworth Park and move on. I am in the latter stages of having a house built nearby on my stud land at Dullingham Ley where all my breeding stock willmove to."
