Grade 3 winner in Japan for Admire Moon

JAPANESE freshman sire Admire Moon, who got his first winner just in June, has already got a first stakes winner when Fine Choice won the Hakodate Nisai Stakes (G3) at Hakodate. The filly is unbeaten in two runs, while her sire has chalked up four winners.

Admire Moon is a son of End Sweep and out of My Katies (Sunday Silence), a daughter of the 1,000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes winner Katies. He was a horse of the year in Japan at four and won the Japan Cup, the Takarazuka Kinen and the Dubai Duty Free Stakes. 

He was bought by Sheikh Mohammed in 2007 for a reported $33 million and retired to Darley Japan.
