Munnings: Grade 2 winner is the latest young stallion to sire his first foal

Grade 2 winner Munnings sires first foal

MULTIPLE Grade 2-winning sprinter Munnings was represented by his first foal when Heaven's Grace produced a colt on Tuesday morning at Anstu Farm in New York.

Heaven's Grace, a daughter of Untuttable, is a full sister to Grade 2 Swale Stakes winner This Ones For Phil.

Stud manager Jim Maloney said: "He's a good quality colt - we couldn't be happier with him."

Purchased for $1,700,000 by Demi O'Byrne as a two-year-old, Munnings won a trio of Grade 2 races, namely the Woody Stephens Stakes, Tom Fool Handicap and Gulfstream Park Sprint Championship. He was also second in the Grade 1 Champagne Stakes at two.

The son of Speightstown stands at Ashford Stud in Kentucky at a fee of €10,000.
