Grade 2 winner Interactif to stand in Louisiana

INTERACTIF, a Grade 2-winning descendant of champion Personal Ensign, has been sold by Wertheimer et Frere to stand atRed River Farms in Louisiana.

The five-year-old son of Broken Vow retires as the winner of $563,700 in earnings, boosted by successes for Todd Pletcher in the Grade 2 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes on turf at Saratoga and a pair of Grade 3 turf events as a two-year-old.

He was also successful on his juvenile debut in a five-furlong maiden on dirt and ran third in the 2009 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf to Pounced.

A half brother to the Grade 3-placed Stretching and French Group 3-placed Wingspan, Interactif is out of Broad Pennant, an unraced Broad Brush half-sister to this season's Grade 3-winning juvenile Animal Spirits. His second dam, Pennant Champion, is a sister to Grade 1 winners Miner's Mark and Traditionally and out of champion Personal Ensign.
