Grade 2 winner A Little Warm sold to Uruguay

A LITTLE Warm, winner of the 2010 Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes, has been sold to stand at stud in Uruguay. The four-year-old son of Stormin Fever, who was a late withdrawal from the Keeneland January Sale, will stand as the property of Haras Rio de la Plata, La Madriguera and La Madrina.

Bred and raced by the late Edward P. Evans, A Little Warm won last year's Spectacular Bid Stakes in addition to the Jim Dandy. He also ran second in the Grade 2 Hutcheson Stakes and Grade 2 Louisiana Derby before injury forced an end to his career.

A Little Warm is the best foal out of the Grade 3-winning Alydar mare Minidar, a daughter of Evans' controversial Cheveley Park Stakes heroine Minstrella.
