Grade 1-placed Mores Wells to stand in Sweden

THE Grade 1-placed Mores Wells has been retired to stand at Peter Björnsson's Alebäcks Stud in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The son of Sadler's Wells will stand alongside the Dubai World Cup winner Gloria De Campeao.

Alebäck Stud has established itself as one of the leading stud farms in Sweden over the last 30 years and the success had by Gloria De Campeao there last year encouraged Björnsson to stand a second stallion.

Mores Wells has won eight races during his career, amassing prize money of £725,604. His victories included three Group 3 races in Ireland when trained by Kevin Prendergast and he was beaten a head by Joshua Tree in the Grade 1 Canadian International at Woodbine. In 2010 he was successful in the Group 3 Stockholm CupInternational at Taby.

Mores Wells is the third foal out of the Warning mare Endorsement, who was successful in the Group 3 Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot.
