Golden Coral colt

The colt foal by Yeats out of Golden Opinion's sister Golden Coral

See one of the first foals by record breaker Yeats

PICTURED above is one of the first foals sired by record breaker Yeats, the first horse to win four consecutive renewals of the Ascot Gold Cup.

The foal is a colt out of the Slew O'Gold mare Golden Coral, a sister to Coronation Stakes winner Golden Opinion.

Golden Coral already has one black-type performer to her name in Listed-placed Aleagueoftheirown. She also has a two-year-old colt by Galileo in training at Ballydoyle and was bred back to Galileo this season.

The foal was bred by Barronstown Stud, who were also responsible for Yeats.

Yeats retired to Coolmore last year as the winner of 15 of his 26 starts, also including the Coronation Cup and Irish St Leger.

He covered 174 mares in 2010.
