LIkely catalogue highlights include Rendl Beach, who is two out of two in bumpers for Peter Niven, The Ice Factor, a dual-winning hurdler, and George Fernbeck, who has been placed in all three of his bumper starts.

The catalogue also features foals and yearlings by the sires including Avonbridge, Major Cadeaux and Verglas, and mares in foal to Cockney Rebel, Monsieur Bond and Multiplex.

DBS managing director Henry Beeby said: "There is always a hidden gem to be unearthed at the DBS January Sales and Lady Spingbank is a classic example of this after realising £25,000 and going to win the Group 3 Weld Park Stakes and the Group 3 1,000 Guineas Trial Stakes.

" The DBS Horses in Training Sales are a source of constant success with Overturn a notable example of this theory with success in the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle following victories in the Grade 2 Ascot Hurdle at Ascot, the Summer Champion Hurdle, the Chester Cup, the Galway Hurdle, the Northumberland Plate and the Grade 2 Scottish Champion Hurdle - a true dual-purpose performer!.

"This DBS success story can be largely attributed to the success of the DBS team and we are sad to lose a valued member of this team with the retirement of DBS Vice Chairman Michael White in April.

"The DBS January Sales will therefore be the last of his distinguished career on the rostrum and we hope that you will join us to celebrate his time at DBS when he sells his last horses atDBS on 24 January 2012."
