New Irish agent for DBS

JUMPS trainer Ian Ferguson has joined DBS as an agent for Northern Ireland. 

Ferguson, who trains from Mount Davys Stables in Co. Antrim, will source stock for the company's National Hunt sales alongside the existing Irish-based DBS team of Gerry Hogan, John O'Byrne, Aiden O'Ryan, John Osborne and John Dineen.

"DBS are delighted to have another experienced and popular face on the team," said Henry Beeby, managing director of DBS.

"The sales market is becoming more and more competitive and we felt that we needed more agents regularly attending race meetings so that we can continue to provide the very best standard of horse to be sold. Ian's experience and huge network of clients will prove invaluable to DBS."

Ferguson is also a regular sales consignor and notable horses to have passedunder his Mount Davys Stables banner include the Betfair Bowl Chase winner Grey Abbey.
