Neil O'Donnell
joins DBS team

DBS have appointed Neil O'Donnell as their agent for the South of Ireland.

The County Waterford-based O'Donnell spent several months working for Michael Hourigan before reporting for The Irish Field and The Irish Examiner. He also enjoyed a long stint at the Formcard Point-to-Point service.

O'Donnell spends many weekends spotting potential talent on the Irish Point-to-Point circuit and among his successes is multiple winner The Reverend, who ran second in a Lismore point-to-point before selling to Howard Johnson.

O'Donnell will join John Dineen, Ian Ferguson, Gerry Hogan, Aiden O'Ryan and John Osborne on the DBS Irish team.

"DBS are delighted to have another experienced and enthusiastic face on the team," said Henry Beeby, DBS managing director.

"Neil'sexperience and huge network of clients will prove invaluable to DBS and we look forward to welcoming increased numbers of top-class Irish horses to DBS where they have sold so well over many years."
