GRADE 1-winning hurdler Marsh Warbler is among the entries for the one-day DBS April horses-in-training sale, held immediately after the company's breeze-up on April 24.

Subsequent Haydock Sprint Cup winner Markab was purchased at the sale for 33,000gns in 2007.

Marsh Warbler won the Finale Juvenile Hurdle at Chepstow last year and was a close third to Celestial Halo in the Haydock Champion Hurdle Trial in January.

Other entries include multiple winners Bruslini, Dontpaytheferryman, Quinsman and Royal Opera.

Leading owners and trainers who feature in the vendor list include Darley, Juddmonte, Mark Johnston and Marwan Koukash.

DBS managing director Henry Beeby said: "The April HIT sale will again benefit from its close proximity to our breeze-up sales and we are delighted that the move has again captured the imagination of vendors who have helped us to put together an exciting catalogue of horsesfor a sale that is a proven source of recent Group 1 success.

"The eclectic mix of regular DBS vendors have again been supported by exciting drafts from the Maktoum family and their associates and we are confident that this sale can again lead to Group 1 success on the racecourse and in the breeding sheds in years to come."
