DBS catalogue 24 supplementary entries for Spring HIT

DBS have catalogued an additional 14 supplementary entries to the Spring Horses in Training Sale next Tuesday and Wednesday, taking the total number of supplements to 24.

Topping the entries on paper is Shin A Vee (307), who took the KFM Hunters Chase at the Punchestown Festival by 21 lengths. It was only the third start for the gelding, who is from the family of Gold Cup hero Bregawn.

Winning pointers Anotherbuck (460A), Saddler Melody (445), Fernando (95), Wantanamoe Bay (443) and Dices Loaded (114) are also among the new entries as is Downpatrick bumper winner Spencer's Hill (182).

Recent winners such as All The Cousins (59) and Viscount Rossini (420) have also been catalogued, complementing the earlier group of entries which were headed by the Grade 2-placed chaser Oumeyade (344).

DBS managing director, Henry Beeby, was delighted with the additional entries, saying: "The Supplementary Catalogue was responsible for the record breaking top price of £370,000 in 2008 and we are delighted with the entries that we have received this year.

"This sale forms part of the world's premier National Hunt Sales which contains over 800 horses that undoubtedly cater for buyers at all levels, and we are confident that purchasers will find their next big race winner at the DBS Spring Sales."
