Goffs catalogues 75 juveniles for Kempton

GOFFS has released a reduced catalogue of 75 two-year-olds - 25 entries less than last year - for its Breeze-Up Sale at Kempton on March 6.

Among them are two-year-olds by leading sires such as Danehill Dancer, Giant's Causeway, Green Desert, Invincible Spirit and Oasis Dream.

The pick on paper is thefirst foal out of 2005 1,000 Guineas heroine Virginia Waters, by Giant's Causeway. Other notable lots include a brother to the multiple Group 1-winning globetrotter Phoenix Reach and a Rock Of Gibraltar three-parts brother to the smart sprinter Conquest.

Last year's renewal saw 64 two-year-olds sell for a total of £1,944,000 and an average of £30,375. The sale was topped by the Invincible Spirit filly Glamorous Spirit, who was knocked down to Anthony Stroud for £105,000.
