Goffs introduce QR code in Punchestown sale

BUYERS at the Goffs Punchestown Invitation Sale on Thursday will be able to view recent runs of all the entries using a QR code, which will be available on each catalogue page.

A QR code scanner is a type of barcode for Smartphone users, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Android Market. The code in the catalogue canthen be scanned and the horse's race will be played on the phone.


Goffs were the first European sales company to introduce an iPhone app and for the ever increasing number of people with Smartphones, theintroduction in the catalogue of a QR code is another significant step forward.
