Freud to relocate
for 2010 season

FREUD, Giant's Causeway's Group 2-placed brother, is set to relocate to Keane Stud in New York for the 2010 season.

The 11-year-old son of Storm Cat stood the past season for $7,5000 at Sequel Stallions in New York alongside Hook And Ladder and Read The Footnotes.

Read The Footnotes and Hook And Ladder, who were New York's leading first and second crop sires respectively in 2008, will also transfer to Keane Stud after it was announced that Sequel Stallions, which is owned by Becky Thomas and Dennis Narlinger, will close at the end of October.

From five crops of racing age, Freud is the sire of 11 stakes winners led by the Grade 1-placed Quick Little Miss. He has also enjoyed success in Europe from limited opportunities as the sire of Fred Darling Stakes third Elusive Flash.
