Einstein: first foal by the multiple Grade 1 winner born in the US

First foal for Grade 1 winner Einstein

MULTIPLE US Grade 1 winner Einstein has produced his first foal. The nine-year-old stallion stands at Adena Springs in Kentucky at a fee of $7,500 and is by Kentucky Derby winner Spend A Buck. Bred in Brazil by Fazenda Mondesir, Einstein's Brazilian-bred dam, Gay Charm, is by the French-bred sire Ghadeer.

Einstein won at the top level five times, including the Santa Anita Handicap, with career earnings just short of $3 million. He raced 30 times from three to seven years of age, winning 11 times. His first foal is bred by Kirby Nelson out of Plaza South, who produced stakes-placed Grey Rhapsody.
