And they passed the post in front again at Folkestone on Thursday, this time borne by debutant Gatepost in the 5f EBF McCloud Family Affair Maiden Stakes for two-year-olds.

Gatepost earned Koukash a £10,000 payout from the Racing Post Yearling Bonus fund, in addition to the £3,173 first-place prize-money.

The Mick Channon-trained Gatepost was bred by Michael Doyle. He was registered as not sold at €12,500 at the 2009 Goffs November foal sale, but made €20,000 when bought by Emerald Bloodstock at last year's Tattersalls Ireland September yearling sale.

Gatepost is from the third crop of 2,000 Guineas hero Footstepsinthesand and out of the winning Warning mare Mandama, a half-sister to Prix de l'Abbaye winner Namid and dual Group 3 scorer Noelani.
