Milan in fashion at Tattersalls Ireland

A POPULAR son of Milan from a terrific jumping dynasty that has produced the likes of Gaye Brief was snapped up by the Irish-based outfit Boher Bloodstock for €40,000.

Consigned by Orwell he is out of an unraced Un Desperado half-sister to the triple Edward Hanmer Memorial Chase winner Kingsmark.

John O'Byrne continued to make his presence felt as he went to €37,000 for a son of Presenting from Asigh Stud. The April-born colt is out of a Listed-placed chaser from the family of the Gold Cup scorer Garrison Savannah.

"He's a good colt. He's by Presenting out of a Supreme Leader mare who was black-type placed over fences. There's plenty to like about him," said O'Byrne.
