GAME ON DUDE (5 g Awesome Again - Worldly Pleasure by Devil His Due)

Bred by Adena Springs in Kentucky

GAME On Dude, who fell a nose short in last year's Hollywood Gold Cup, fended off a strong challenge from stablemate Richard's Kid this time around in a victory which saw Chantal Sutherland become the first female jockey to win the prestigious event.

The gelding, who was saddled by Bob Baffert to win last year's Santa Anita Handicap and Goodwood Stakes, is one of 11 Grade 1 winners by prominent Kentucky stallion Awesome Again.

1998 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Awesome Again has been a flagbearer of the Adena Springs' operation in Kentucky since his first-crop hit the track in 2002. That first batch of 74 foals contained four Graded stakes winners including the brilliant Ghostzapper, who emulated his sire by taking the Breeders' Cup Classic before retiring to stand alongside him at Adena Springs.

Awesome Again has since been represented by the likes of Wilko, who won the 2004 Breeders' Cup Juvenile for Jeremy Noseda, US champion Ginger Punch and the Grade 1-winning siblings Daaher and Spun Sugar.

The son of Deputy Minister stands at Adena Springs in Kentucky for $50,000.

Game On Dude is the fifth Grade 1 winner by the stallion bred by Stronach following Ghostzapper, Ginger Punch, Spun Sugar and Sugar Shake. He is the second foal and winner out of Worldly Pleasure, an eight-time scorer whose finest moment came when landing the Politely Stakes as a three-year-old.

Worldly Pleasure was sold in foal to Awesome Again's half-brother Macho Uno for $15,000 to the Korean-based buyer K.O.I.D. Co. Ltd at the 2009 Keeneland November Sale.

Game On Dude was unsold for $210,000 at the 2008 Keeneland September Sale.

Awesome Again's half-brother, the Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Macho Uno, also enjoyed a productive afternoon as the sire of Mucho Macho Man, winner of the Grade 2 Suburban Handicap at Belmont Park.

Macho Uno stands at Adena Springs in Kentucky for $15,000.
