Galileo return for star mare Ouija Board
OUTSTANDING performer Ouija Board, winner of seven top-flight races, will return to champion sire Galileo this season.
The daughter of Cape Cross, who took in 22 races during her career and was also Group 1-placed on a further six occasions, will be making her third visit to the Coolmore resident.
Three-year-old Filia Regina, the result of their first meeting, is in training with Ed Dunlop, who guided Ouija Board's career.
Stanley House Stud manager Peter Stanley said: "Ed is very happy with Filia Regina - he likes her a lot.
"We also had a gorgeous colt out of Ouija Board by Galileo, who sold for 525,000gns as a yearling to Coolmore.
"Naturally, we're very keen to repeat the mating."
The yearling in question, now a two-year-old, earned a top 20 place at last year's Tattersalls Book 1 with his hefty price tag and also holds an entry in the 2014 Epsom Derby.
In foal to Dubawi and due to deliver next month, Ouija Board has been represented by two runners - Listed-placed Voodoo Prince (by Kingmambo) and the winning Monsun gelding Aegaeus, both trained by Dunlop for Ouija Board's owner-breeder Lord Derby.
