GALILEO bagged another Classic when Roderic O'Connor made all in the Irish 2,000 Guineas. All of his three of his Guineas winners this season - Frankel, Golden Lilac and now Roderic O'Connor - are out of Danehill mares.

The same cross produced Dewhurst Stakes winner Teofilo and Italian Derby winner Cima De Triomphe.

Sole Power's win in the Temple Stakes bodes well for the rest of the season, when the four-year-old could further boost his sire Kyllachy'sreputation. He became the first European Group 1 winner for his sire in last year's Nunthorpe, his other Group 1 winner being Dim Sum, who races in Hong Kong.

Sole Power takes after his sire and grandsire Pivotal in his preference for5f - all three are Nunthorpe winners. He hails from a Juddmonte family and was the first of two winners out of Distant View mares.

The second was Emulous, who won the Group 3 TRI Equestrian Stakes at the Curragh. The daughter of Dansili is out of Aspiring Diva, who from 12 starts was out of the first three only three times over sprint trips in France, winning once as a juvenile and once at three.

Her sister, Daring Diva, won twice and placed twice in France at two including at Listed level, but was retired having disappointed in her only start at three.

Acclamation produced a Group winner in Hitchens, who took the Group 3 Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh, while there was a Listed double for Oasis Dream.

The Juddmonte resident produced juvenile winner Power, a half-brotherto Ribblesdale winner Thakafaat out of a half-sister to 2,00o Guineas winner Footstepsinthesand. His six-year-old daughter Anne Of Kiev completed the double in the Cecil Frail Stakes at Haydock.

Olden Times produced a second black-type winner when the five-year-old Times Up landed the Listed Grand Cup at York.
