JUDDMONTE breds won the evening's two stakes races headed by the easy Group 3 Irish Daily Mail International Stakes success of Famous Name  who bounced back from a trouncing at the same course by So You Think to record a fourth win at The Curragh.

By Dansili, whose other Group winners this season include Betwiched, Dandino, Delegator  and Epic Love and Surfrider in France, Famous Name is unusual for a Juddmonte bred in being the only black-type performer within the first two generations.

A daughter of Juddmonte's Belmont Stakes winner Empire Maker, now in Japan, Newbury's  Listed EBF 'Kheleyf'  Hoppings Stakes winner  Principal Role  is out of the Sadler's Wells mare Interim, producer of the Grade 1 winner Midships. The granddam is Intermission, whose other progeny include Prix du Maurice de Gheest winner Interval.

Elsewhere, the Maisons-Laffitte card saw an eye-catching victory for Newsells Park graduate February Sun, who was sold as an Arqana yearling in 2009 for €450,000. The daughter of Monsun is a half-sister to French Derby runner-up Best Name out of Group 3 Prix de Royaumount winner and subsequent Grade 1 scorer Flawly, by Old Vic.

Sheikh Mohammed's purchase of Stonerside Stables in America yielded an impressive winner with six-furlong Newmarket debutante  Discourse, a Street Cry half-sister to Blue Grass Stakes debut winner Bandini.
