French Listed win for Kendor filly Doriana
DORIANA, a daughter of Kendor and the Snurge mare Urgence, landed the 6f Prix Zeddaan for two-year-old fillies at Fontainebleau on Friday.
It was a third career win for Doriana, who was bred and owned by Haras de La Perrigne, and is trained by Alain de Royer-Dupre.
Her family is not unaccustomed to juvenile success; her dam is a half-sister to 2004 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte heroine Centifolia, who is also by Kendor.
Roger Charlton's Definightly, a daughter of Diktat who was an impressive handicap winner on her previous start, finished well down the field.
