Frankel: his dam, Kind, will visit Galileo for a fourth time in 2012

KIND, dam of the world's highest rated thoroughbred Frankel, will be heading to Ireland in the coming weeks to be covered by Coolmore's champion sire Galileo.
This will be the mare's fourth visit to the stallion - the first mating produced the unbeaten Frankel, whose 2011 victory's included the Newmarket Guineas, St James's Palace Stakes and Sussex Stakes. Last year alsosaw the introduction of Frankel's brother Noble Mission, who was a highly encouraging second on his debut at Yarmouth.
Midday: will be covered by Galileo
PICTURE: Edward Whitaker (racingpost.com/photos)Kind, a dual Listed winner for Roger Charlton, is a daughter of Danehill and the Galileo-Danehill cross proved a fruitful combination last year. As well as Frankel, the cross was responsible for the unbeaten juvenile and leading Guineas hope Maybe and the classic-winning duo Roderic O'Connor and Golden Lilac.
The recently retired Midday, whose six Group 1 wins included last season's Nassau Stakes, will also be covered by Galileo in the coming weeks.
Midday's dam, Midsummer, will be staying in Newmarket to be covered by Juddmonte's Group 1-winning son of Green Desert Oasis Dream.
Soviet Moon, responsible for the 2010 Derby and Arc hero Workforce, will be covered by Zamindar, as will Clepsydra, dam of last year's Falmouth Stakes winner Timepiece.
Fame At Last will be heading to Dansili -a mating that has previously produced Dermot Weld's multiple black-type scorer Famous Name. The mare is also responsible for last year's impressive Trigo Stakes winner Zaminast.
