Four black-type wildcard entries to Arc Sale

THURSDAY'S runaway Listed Prix Coronation winner Limonar is the headline act of a quartet of wildcard entries to the Arqana Arc Horses in Training Sale at Saint-Cloud on October 1.

The three-year-old daughter of Street Cry, who is out of a half-sister to Classic winner Bachelor Duke, was also third in the Listed Prix de Bagatelle earlier this year.

Another wild card with recent form is Il Cannone, a three-year-old gelding who ran third in the Listed Prix Turenne at Saint-Cloud on Thursday. The son of American Post has been assigned lot 20. 

High-class four-year- old Vagabond Shoes, who defeated Group 2 winner Shamalgan earlier this year when successfulin the Group 3 Prix Messidor, is catalogued as lot 40.

The quartet is completed by Group 3 Prix du Pin winner Best Dating. The four-year-old King's Best gelding has not been out of the frame in five starts this year and is catalogued as lot 50.
