Fix The Rib: the 155-rated chaser is one of the notable sale entrants


Entries total 122 for next Cheltenham Sale


BRIGHTWELLS' Cheltenham Hunter Chase Meeting sale has attracted 122 entries including wild cards. The sale includes horses in training and horses withpoint-to-point form.

Charlie Mann has entered Moon Over Miami, who won Grade 2 novice events over both hurdles and fences at Cheltenham, and was second in the Grand Annual at the Cheltenham Festival. He is currently rate 137 over fences.

Other high-profile entries include Fix The Rib, the five-time winner who was third to Master Minded in the Game Spirit Chase at Newbury, and rated 155 over fences.

The Alan King-trained Nenuphar Collonges was a Festival winner in the 2008 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle and is rated 139 over fences, 148 over hurdles.

The catalogue features 50 winning and placed point-to-pointers, including Blue Signal, a five-year-old winner of his last two starts at Loughnamore and Kirkistown.

Wild card entries are being taken up until Wednesday April 28.
