First winner for Run Away And Hide

KENTUCKY-BASED first-season sire Run Away And Hide was represented by his first winner on Monday when his son On The Go won a 5f maiden race at Delaware Park by eight lengths.

On The Go was bred in Kentucky by Draper Labhras out of the Tour D’Or mare Erin’s Tour. He is trained by Jamie Ness for owner Midwest Thoroughbreds, Inc.

Run Away And Hide was an undefeated and record-setting two-year-old on the track. After breaking his maiden on his debut at Keeneland, he gained consecutive victories in the Grade 3 Kentucky Stakes during Kentucky Derby week and Grade 2 Saratoga Special Stakes.

By leading juvenile sire City Zip, Run Away And Hide retired to John Phillips' Darby Dan Farm in Lexington,where he currently stands for a fee of $5,000, stands and nurses.
