Silver Frost: the French Guineas winner has his first foals on the ground

GROUP 1 Poule D'Essai des Poulains winner Silver Frost is the latest young sire to have his first foals on the ground.
The Enrique mare Spirit Ima, a half-sister to the Listed winner Nicaragua, foaled a filly at Haras de la Hetraie - where Silver Frost stands.
The son of Verglas had colts born at Haras D'Haspel and Haras D'Ellon. The foal born at Haras d'Haspel is out of Miss Anelia, who descends from a family including the Listed winners Queen America and Whip And Win.
The unraced Linamix mare Mixture was responsible for the foal born at Haras d'Ellon and she has already produced the Listed-placed two-year-old Mirageleve.
Silver Frost, who completed a hat-trick of Group 3 successes prior to his victory in the French Guineas, will command a fee of €6,000 in 2012.
