First foal by Benny the Bull

The first foal of 2008 Eclipse winning sprinter Benny The Bull

First foals for Virtual and US based Benny The Bull

THE debut foals of Cheveley Park Stud stallion Virtual have been born. The first came at Bearstone Stud in Shropshire where maiden mare Rosabee produced a foal that was described by manager Mark Pennell as  "a strong colt with good limbs that is a quality individual".

Then came a filly out of Ile Deserte who was born at Norman Court Stud. Both were born on Monday evening.

Stud manager Stewart Bevan said: "Sheis a filly of exceptional substance, balance and quality all of which make her an eye-catching individual at this early stage."

Meanwhile, in America the first foal of 2008 Eclipse Champion Sprinter Benny the Bull was born  at Ben-D South in Ocala.  Out of the multiple stakes-placed mare Color Me Special, the colt is owned by his breeder Greg James, who also raced Benny the Bull.

"This is a nice colt," said Ben-D manager Andy Cant. "He's definitely the type of foal that will make everyone's short list."
