First foals for Grade 1 winner Line Of David

GRADE 1 winner Line Of David is the latest young sire represented by his first reported foals.

The stallion's first reported foal born is a bay colt bred by Eamon Cleary out of the Grade 1-placed Sister Girl Blues, who was foaled at Clearsky Farms in Kentucky on January 19.

Six days later, a Line Of David filly wasborn at Hurricane Hills Farm in Kentucky. Bred by stud farm owner Doug Branham, the chestnut filly is out of the mare Value Vetted, a half-sister to stakes winner Busy Prospect.

Line Of David enjoyed his finest moment on the track when defeating subsequent Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver to take the 2010 Grade 1 Arkansas Derby.

The son of Lion Heart stands at Spendthrift Farm in Kentucky for $7,500. He stood his first year in 2011 as part of Spendthrift's Share The Upside programme, and heads into 2012 as part of Spendthrift's Breed Secure programme.
